**TECHNICIAN NOTES**
PLEASE NOTE:
The 4.7 liter does not have a EGR system for emissions. Exhaust valves are designed to stay slightly open during the intake stroke in cylinder to burn off excess exhaust gasses. This makes engine feel a little rougher running compared to engines with VVTI. VVTI can change timing to make car run smoother.
Test drove another 04 GX and felt the same. Checked for any DTCS. No codes were stored. All seems fine at this time.
